ACADEMY LEVEL ID SESSIONS schedule 
(2026-2027 season SELECTION)

DC Soccer Club held virtual meetings for Boys Academy and Girls Academy program information for next season. If you missed the meeting, you may reach out to ask for a link to the recording:  communications@dcsoccerclub.org

Please make sure to read about the Academy Level Information to have an understanding of the level of commitment and expectations.

ID Sessions are tryouts for the top level Academy teams and begin in March for the 2026-2027 season. Please note, these teams may not be immediately formed after an ID session. ID Sessions are used as an opportunity for staff to identify and evaluate talent both internally (current DCSC players) and externally (players from outside clubs who are interested in playing for DCSC). Our club may also elect to host additional Academy ID Sessions for specific age groups in the spring to work through the identification process when forming teams.


If you have missed a scheduled ID Session, please contact Technical Director Edu de Souza to potentially coordinate an evaluation at a team training.


Who should register for Academy ID Sessions? 

  • All current DCSC Academy players (players on our Pre-ECNL and ECNL RL teams).
  • All current DCSC U10 Boys Blue Team players (rising U11 for the 2026-2027 travel season).
  • **DCSC travel players from others levels not listed above must be invited by travel coaches and/or the technical staff to register and attend.
  • Players from other clubs interested in the Academy level may register and attend.


**Please note our travel program has been tracking individual player development on every team and we use this tracking system to properly evaluate players throughout the year. This typically offers a more comprehensive indication of the individual’s current competitive level, and is shared amongst the technical staff and age group directors to more accurately place players within our travel program.


Financial Aid

There is no obligation to commit to a team simply by applying for financial aid and there is no cost to apply. Financial aid cannot be applied retroactively. You can find more information and instructions on our website HERE.

For Players Attending Academy ID Sessions:

  • For players who did not request financial aid (FA) for the 2025-26 season but will need aid for the 2026-27 season, it is strongly encouraged to request for pre-approval FA prior to the tryout. This will ensure that, if selected, you are ready to accept an invitation to a team within the required timeframe.   • Current DCSC Academy players who received financial aid for the 2025-26 season will receive an email regarding financial aid for the 2026-27 season.


For Players attending Travel Tryouts:

  • Please complete the financial aid application after April 19, 2026 and prior to the tryout. This will ensure that, if selected, you are ready to accept an invitation to a team within the required timeframe.
