Rec Goalkeeper Clinic
Goalkeepers play a unique role on the field, and DC Soccer Club is committed to helping every rec player in this position build the skills and confidence to succeed. Training follows our “Eyes, Feet, Hands” principle: Eyes to track the ball, Feet to move as a field player, and Hands to secure/distribute the ball. Whether offered as shorter sessions during the Rec League seasons or as a longer winter program, the Rec Goalkeeper Clinic gives every player the chance to develop position-specific skills in a supportive, challenging, and fun environment.
Fall & Spring: Free modified sessions run alongside Rec League play, giving all recreational goalkeepers access to professional coaching. These sessions focus on handling, footwork, positioning, and distribution while complementing league play.
Winter: A full six-week paid program with weekly sessions offers deeper development through consistent repetition, technical training, and small-sided scenarios to strengthen skills, sharpen reactions, and build confidence in goal.
