CONTACT YOUR AGE GROUP COMMISSIONER

Families with questions about DC Soccer Club’s Recreational League should contact the Age Group Commissioner  assigned to their player’s grade (Pre-K through High School) and division (Coed or Girls).

Your AGC is the primary point of contact for anything related to team placement, schedules, or league operations. They work directly with the club’s Recreational Program Manager and are most familiar with the players, coaches, and structure of their age group. Whether you have a question about rosters, practice times, or game logistics, your AGC can provide quick and accurate information and is the person best equipped to help resolve issues and share updates within your division—keeping communication clear and the season running smoothly for everyone involved.

What Does an Age Group Commissioner Do?

Age Group Commissioners (AGCs) are volunteer leaders who help manage player assignments and team organization within one of the 20 age groups in the Recreational League. They play a key role in ensuring a smoother and more positive season for players, coaches, and families.

AGCs:

• Assign players to teams during the registration process to prepare for the upcoming season.
• Work closely with coaches and other volunteers in their age group to create balanced teams and maintain fairness.
• Communicate important updates about schedules, rosters, and league information.
• Serve as the front line of communication between families, coaches, and the club for all age-group-specific matters.

Because they have a detailed understanding of every team in their division, your AGC can best answer questions about rosters, team placement, or season logistics.
