We are currently accepting and reviewing nominations for one position on DC Soccer Club’s Governing Board. The deadline to apply is March 15.

We are currently accepting and reviewing nominations for one position on DC Soccer Club’s Governing Board. The board’s role is to act as:

  • The Club’s fiduciary tasked with approving major financial, management, and programing decisions;
  • A strategic planning body dedicated to achieving ambitious goals for DCSC’s Bigger, Better, Stronger future;
  • A source of support for the Club’s dedicated staff who manage its day-to-day operations; and
  • A conduit for openness and communication with DCSC’s families and other stakeholders.

Board members serve two-year terms and can serve a maximum of three consecutive terms.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: attending both regular and committee meetings and volunteering at and helping to plan Club events.

We are looking for board members who have a deep dedication to DCSC and a strong desire to support all that kids can gain through soccer. We encourage anyone eager to lead and help write the next chapter of community-centered youth soccer in DC to apply.

To apply, please send a letter of interest by March 15 to Alex Page, Nominations Committee Chair, at alex.c.page@gmail.com and Greg Andrulis, Executive Director, at gregandrulis@dcsoccerclub.org.

Your letter of interest should include:

  • A brief description of your involvement in the club, number of children and level they are competing at, if applicable, and number of years you have been involved.
  • An overview of your professional background, interest, and any relevant work related experience.
  • An explanation of why you would like to serve the DC Soccer Club community.

The Board’s Nomination Committee will meet to review the applications and will conduct interviews with a small number of potential candidates.

Thank you for your support of DC Soccer Club!
