The 2026 FIFA World Cup is almost here, and DC Soccer Club is bringing the excitement of the tournament directly to our community with a summer full of watch parties, player experiences and club-wide celebrations.
In this issue of our newsletter, we highlight what's new at DC Soccer Club which includes all the ways to celebrate the World Cup excitement with our online auction beginning June 1, followed by our opening World Cup Watch Party ticketed event on June 12 that also holds our Annual General Meeting and recognizes this year's DCSC Coach and Volunteer Award recipients. We also showcase how we kicked off our partnership with the Washington Spirit earlier in May when Spirit players Gift Monday and Emma Gaines-Ramos visited Jelleff Rec Center to observe our girls travel and rec teams train and held a special Q&A before signing autographs and taking photos with every player. <<< READ MORE
In partnership with CareFirst, the clinic brings U9–U14 girls together for a professionally led training experience with licensed female coaches, along with exclusive early access for DCSC players and a connection to the professional game.
DC Soccer Club’s newly announced partnership with the Washington Spirit came to life in a special way on May 5th, as Washington Spirit players Gift Monday and Emma Gaines-Ramos visited Jelleff Rec Center to spend the evening directly with select DCSC girls middle school and high school Rec and Travel teams.

With ACL injuries recently back in the national spotlight after a New York Times article highlighting rising injury rates for female athletes, DC Soccer Club is committed to ensuring our families have access to trusted, expert guidance on injury prevention and player health.
DCSC is proud to announce that it has been accepted into MLS NEXT Academy Division beginning in the 2026–2027 season, marking a transformative milestone for the club’s Academy program and the continued elevation of elite player development in the District.
We are currently accepting and reviewing nominations for one position on DC Soccer Club’s Governing Board. The deadline to apply is March 15.
