WASHINGTON, D.C. – Over the weekend, nine DC Soccer Club travel teams competed in friendly games against VSA’s ECNL Regional League travel teams. The matchups were very competitive, with close scorelines in the majority of games and DCSC winning four outright.

Technical Director Edu de Souza said, “I’m pleased with our overall club performance in these games as they prove we can compete at the ECNL Regional League level. We appreciate VSA hosting these games and giving our club this opportunity for good competition.”

The ECNL (Elite Clubs National League) is a national youth soccer league that provides the highest level of competition for male and female teams in the United States. ECNL Regional is the second tier of the national platform that provides more localized league competition with opportunities for regional and national college showcases.
