US Soccer National Coaching Instructor and Soccer Veteran Matt Badiee joins DC Soccer Club as Travel Director and Director of Education.

DC Soccer Club has hired Matt Badiee as Travel Director and Director of Education.

WASHINGTON- DC Soccer Club has hired a new Director to their full-time staff. The club is bringing in Matt Badiee as Travel Director and Director of Education.

Badiee has been involved in soccer for over 40 years as a player and coach. As a player, Badiee played on teams in Iran, Germany, and The United States. He is still an active player in the 40+ NVSL. His coaching experience includes time coaching for the Northern Virginia Majestics Women's Professional Soccer League, Northern Virginia Royals, Loudoun United (DC United's Affiliate), the Olympic Development Program, and serving as a US Soccer Scout for the U-18 Men’s National Team. Badiee has experience coaching for youth clubs, as well as serving in administrative roles where he has seen success at the helm of state and regional championship teams. Badiee has over 10 licenses and certifications including his US Soccer A License and national licenses from Germany, Holland, and Brazil, an UEFA (Union European Football Associations) A license, and his Academy Director license. In his role, Badiee will manage all coach training and education as well as provide ongoing supervision and professional development opportunities for players and coaches. He will also organize and carry out program evaluation systems and oversee the club's match analysis program. Working internally and externally, Badiee will provide a modern methodology that is pertinent to the players, coaches, and the club's development.
