The All-Star program is back! This new program, that was released in Fall 2019, is directed towards players in grades 4-7 (2011-2008 birth year) looking for a higher level of rec and a travel-like feel. This eight week program is a hybrid of our Recreational and Travel Programs that allows players to have an experience with professional training and more competitive games but with less of a time commitment than the traditional soccer program. The main goal of the All-Star League is to provide an opportunity for boys and girls to learn the intricacies of the game while developing tactical and technical skills in a professionally staffed environment.

This upcoming season, training will be held on Monday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m, with one of the sessions being professionally coached. Games for the fall season are currently slated for Sunday mornings which will mostly take place in D.C.

Fall tryouts will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at the Hardy Recreation Center. Boys tryouts will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m and girls tryouts will be held from 6:15-7:15 p.m. This year’s All-Star tryouts will follow the Return to Play Guidelines, which can be found here for parents, players, and coaches. All-Star Program practices and events will follow these guidelines.

Soccer as we know it may look a little bit different, but we look forward to working this through this together. If within the season the situation changes in any way, we will assess the programming and adapt new procedures, as needed.

Players must register prior to tryouts. Click here to register. Teams interested in joining the All-Star League can register and contact Alex Minton directly.
