Khaled Hamami Named DC Stoddert Technical Director

WASHINGTON - DC Stoddert Soccer is excited to announce that Khaled Hamami has been named as the club’s Technical Director, overseeing the technical aspect of all DC Stoddert Programs. Hamami has served as Acting Technical Director since mid-2019 and has worked for DC Stoddert for over seventeen years – as a Travel Program coach, Age Group Director, and Girls’ Director of Coaching. 

Hamami brings a depth of experience to this new challenge and provides both stable and steadfast leadership, as well as creative, new programming and opportunities for our players and their families. He holds his USSF A License, United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma, and countless other certifications. Hamami has also coached on the ODP State Staff, in addition to traveling to Europe in 2018 as a coach for CCL United.

Hamami is well regarded by DC Stoddert coaches and staff, as well as partner organizations. As part of his responsibilities as Technical Director, Hamami serves as a member of the Board of the Club Champions League (CCL) and in this role he has been commended as being dedicated and respected by fellow Board members. 

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Khaled join us in a permanent capacity,” said Executive Director Jennifer Gootman. “He has done an incredible job in the past nine months, and we are excited to see the future with his leadership.”
