Tryouts are free, however players selected to the team will be asked to pay $625. This cost covers fields, insurance, coaching, uniform jerseys, league fees and referee fees, plus other administrative costs to run the program. It does not include travel costs or practice shirt, short, and socks for those players that don't have the current DC Stoddert Soccer Travel practice shirt, shorts, and socks uniform kit.
There will be an additional per player cost for any teams that qualify for the Super Y League North American Finals, which are held in mid-December in Florida. Only U13-U15 (2010, 2009, 2008) teams are eligible for the finals in Florida.
Fee may be paid in full at the time of registration or in two installments. If a player opts to pay in installments, the second payment will automatically be charged to a designated credit card.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is due in order to accept your place on the team. The remaining $425 must be paid by 4/15. Players who do not complete the second payment may forfeit their place on the team.
The primary emphasis on all teams will be player development. Teams of similar ages will train frequently at the same time and on the same fields in order to maximize opportunities for players to gain a range of experience as well as be observed by multiple coaches.

All Super Y teams have volunteer Team Managers that act as liaisons between the coach and team, ensuring effective and timely communication of practice times, game schedules and other relevant team information. In addition, the Team Managers help coordinate game day logistics (e.g. provide rosters, pay referees) and communicate with the coach and team, as needed, via the SportsEngine App.
