A native of Washington, D.C., Kenneth Owens played college soccer at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown Kenny was a two-time team MVP and two-time offensive player of the year. Owens served as Team Captain while also being named All-Big East twice and named All-American. Owens also played for the United States U18 and U20 National Teams. 

He has 20 years of coaching experience and holds a US Soccer ‘C’ Coaching License. And prior to coming to DCSC Kenny was the Director of Coaching for DC SCORES and coached at Potomac Soccer Club. He currently coaches DC Soccer Club's Boys U9 Blue and U10 Blue Metros.
