For field players and goalkeepers. The Shoot and Save Academy is appropriate for all field players, forwards, midfielders and defenders, wishing to hone their skills on both sides of the ball in the one third of the field directly in front of the goal. The Shoot and Save Academy also exposes goalkeepers to technical and tactical elements of goalkeeping in match related decision-making trial and success situations with field players. Each session will have a specific topic where the field players and goalkeepers will be trained by their position specific coach. The curriculums for each position are intertwined. This interrelated training approach is designed to create a more holistic development environment where each training facet complements each position. Each session will conclude with appropriate positional competition between field players and goalkeepers with the focus on the intrinsic values of play. Challenging and fun from learning competitions whereby skill is tested in match related situations.
