Camp Curriculum

DCSC Summer Camps offer a balanced approach to a fun learning environment, technical development, game understanding, and competitive play, with an emphasis on player development! Each week follows a structured curriculum, focusing on a specific technical skill each day, while incorporating fun World Cup-style tournaments everyday to facilitate exciting gameplay. 

Example of a Week's Curriculum:

  • Monday – Dribbling and Running with the Ball Players will work on controlling the ball while navigating past opponents and improving their speed with the ball.
  • Tuesday – Passing and Receiving  Focus on passing accuracy, timing,and improving the ability to receive the ball under pressure in tight spaces.
  • Wednesday – Shooting and Finishing Dedicated to developing shooting techniques and finishing chances in front of goal with confidence.
  • Thursday – Shielding & Turning (ages 5-10) / Defending (ages 11-14)  Younger players ages 5-10 will focus on ball protection and turning skills, while older players ages 11-14 will refine their defensive tactics and positioning.
  • Friday –  Attacking Players will learn how to create goal-scoring opportunities through movement, positioning, and offensive strategy.
